At Hindu Higher Secondary School, the Higher Secondary Section is divided into Science and Arts streams, each offering various groups tailored to students’ interests and future career paths. The medium of instruction is available in both English (EM) and Tamil (TM), with some groups offered under Self-Financed (SF) mode.

The Science stream is ideal for students who wish to pursue careers in engineering, medicine, computer science, or related fields.

  1. Bio-Maths (EM & TM)

    • Combines Biology and Mathematics

    • Suitable for students interested in medical, biotech, or life sciences.

  2. CS-Maths (EM) – SF

    • Computer Science with Mathematics

    • Ideal for those inclined towards software, IT, and computer engineering fields.

  3. II Group (TM)

    • Traditional science combination offered in Tamil medium.

    • A more localized curriculum focused on state requirements.

  4. II Group (EM) – SF

    • A premium group under self-financed scheme.

    • English medium with a focus on advanced science topics.

The Arts stream is crafted for students with interests in humanities, commerce, and vocational education.

  1. III Group (EM) – SF

    • English Medium, Self-Financed

    • Generally includes Computer Application, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy.

  2. III Group (TM)

    • Tamil Medium version of the above.

    • Suitable for students aiming for government or administrative services.

  3. IV Group (TM)

    • A variant of arts focusing more on economics, history and geography or language-based subjects.

  4. AA Group (TM)

    • Possibly a vocational or commerce-focused track in Tamil medium.

  5. BME (TM)

    • Likely stands for Basic Mechanical Engineering

    • Offers practical business and startup knowledge in Tamil.

🏫 Lower Classes

Classes VI to X are offered in both English and Tamil mediums, building a strong foundation before students enter higher secondary education.
