About Us
Hindu Higher Sec School
đ Our History
Our journey began in the mid-19th century with the founding of Subbarayar School. By 1879, it evolved into an Anglo-Vernacular School, serving around 50 students. With the continued support of community elders and educators, the institution flourished and became known as:
âThe Hindu Secondary School and Chattram Committeeâ in 1907.
In 1948, the school gained recognition from the Tamil Nadu School Education Department as a High School. In 1978, it was upgraded to Hindu Higher Secondary School, marking a major milestone in its service to rural education.
Today, we function under the Hindu High School and Chattram Committee, which governs three major institutions:
Hindu Higher Secondary School (Coed)
Hindu Girls High School
Hindu Elementary School

Our Vision
To emerge as the best school in creating knowledge and providing students a unique learning experience for the betterment of the nation and mankind.
Our Mission
To produce disciplined, competent, socially committed, and morally upright intellectuals through high-quality education and holistic development.
